Melissa Fallas joined Feldman Jackson in 2021. She has over 18 years of experience as a legal assistant in prominent law firms based in the DC Metro area, focusing on family law. Melissa began her career as an assistant with the Family Division Services at the Montgomery County Circuit Court where her involvement with family law cases sparked her interest and was the driving force for her obtaining a BS in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Over her career, Melissa has developed a reputation for trusted handling of confidential information as well as treating all parties with dignity and professionalism. Outside of her legal career, Melissa has volunteered as a booster for the Sherwood High School JV and Varsity football teams during the years her son played. She also is active in the Girl Scouts, volunteering for her niece's troop and supporting various fundraising efforts including the annual Girl Scout cookies sales.
